Korea Internet & Security Agency is a government owned company responsible for the operation and development of the Korean core Internet infrastructure, management of the Korean top-domains, and preparing Korea for the future digital society. I was involved in two projects at KISA, “Analysis and Implementation of Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI)” and “IPv6 Status Research”. In my first project I analyzed RPKI and implemented a proof of concept implementation of the system. I also performed a risk analysis, cost benefit analysis, and researched how a wide deployment of RPKI in the core Internet infrastructure in Korea could be conducted. In my second project I researched the global IPv6 deployment, how deployment of IPv6 could be done faster, and how methods and ideas used in Europe could be applied in Korea.
