Marcus has been assisting the Asset Strategy group within Hydro Tasmania to communicate operational risk and performance metrics to senior business management and Board. Marcus has been working with the Communications and External Relations team at Hydro Tasmania to analyse requirements for a carbon and emmissions reporting system. Marcus has designed and delivered a series of training courses aimed at lifting the skills of the Hydro Tasmania ISG Business Analyst team. The courses centred on data management and reporting. Marcus joined the AMSI (Asset Management System Integration) project in October 2004. AMSI was a Energy Business/Power Schemes project to rationalise and re-energise the use of asset management systems within the Power Schemes business. Marcus’ main roles were to: Conduct and project manage a review of Hydro Tasmania’s principal maintenance management system and recommend/implement improvements. Conduct and project manage a review of asset and maintenance related reporting tools and processes and recommend/implement improvements. Marcus built and implemented a web based reporting solution as part of the project solution set. Construct and build a data warehouse to provide off-line data for analysis and reporting for systems within Power Schemes.
