Marcus is an excellent line manager and grew the team from 1 to 15 utilising his skills as a recruiter and a people person. It was important that the recruitment that happened was carried out to ensure that the culture of Betfair was strong and that the correct blend of personalities and skills were present. Marcus is technically very adept and his strategic approach to all that is required across a vast spectrum of technologies is excellent. Marcus' ability to build relationships is excellent, ensuring that communication is kept high for all stakeholders, and having the ability to explain highly complex situations and models at a level that allows non-technical stakeholders to understand. I have enjoyed working with Marcus for this short time, and believe that he will be successful in everyting that he does.
