This sort of thing doesn’t usually come up in interviews, but every company should seek and highly rank it. Especially companies looking for a high level of independence. Marcus was a key part of a team I was on that had the daunting task of building a startup from nothing. Personally, I’d jump at an opportunity to work with Marcus again because I know he can deliver. My role at Daktari has drastically changed since I started working here. I was originally hired to work on the DevOps side of things. While working on DevOps, I started contributing to our data management API and was continually tasked with more development work from my team lead.
