  As an apprentice at Amazon, I am expected to work/shadow various departments for my first two years following my internal apprenticeship programme. The programme exposes me to the different skills and roles within the business. These roles cover both office and non-office activities for example: Manufacturing Processes This role involves various duties but my main objective is to aid in the manufacturing of Filter Housings and Cartridge Production. Other areas I will/have had, contact with are Fabrication Preparation, Welding and Housing Assembly and Cartridge Manufacture, using specialized machinery for both pleat and microfiltration filter cartridges. Engineering Maintenance This role involves maintaining the building, machinery, making improvements, updates and trials, possibly sourcing suppliers for components. Housing Quality Housing Assembly Housing Preparation & Fabrication Laboratory Internal Sales Administration Technical Proposals & Operations Design Marketing Despatch Administration Warehousing By my final phase of my apprenticeship, I hope to have the knowledge and understanding to be able to specialize in the best pathway that suits my skills to complete my overall apprenticeship.
