Site scopes range from contaminated soil excavation and disposal to groundwater treatment by in situ bioremediation (ISB) and chemical oxidation (ISCO). Managed excavation and disposal of 12K tons of TPH (gas), BTEX, and MTBE soil contamination at a former gas station. Excavation extended into the shallow groundwater (GW), where enhanced in situ bioremediation using ORC, a patented formulation of magnesium peroxide which promotes aerobic biodegradation of GW contaminants by the indigenous bacteria. Managed excavation and disposal of 30K tons of TPH (diesel), TCE, and metals (chromium VI) soil contamination at a former fueling station. Managed ISB of chlorinated VOCs in groundwater by injecting a dechlorinating microbial population (SDC-9) and a carbon biostimulation, emulsified soybean oil. Managed ISCO of 1,4-dioxane by Fenton's Reagent, a solution of hydrogen peroxide and an iron catalyst. Managed the demolition of 44,000 square foot industrial facility in City of Commerce, CA. Provided oversight of asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP) survey and abatement, including identifying wastes requiring special handling (oil, universal wastes, etc.). Conducted pre-demolition walks with prospective contractors after preparing scope of work, awarding contract to most qualified bidder.
