  I started here in February but already completed 4 weeks' worth of work experience whilst completing my diplomas in college. Once I completed the 4 weeks, they decided to take me on full time. My job included working alone or part of a small team installing security and fire alarm systems in hospitals, schools, student accommodations and pubs, as well as large commercial and industrial sites. My role was to plan cable routes, wiring and connecting all kind of devices from fire, intruder and CCTV systems, making sure all work is to the best of our ability, ascetically correct and making sure it complies with the European and British regulations.
