Marcus Jansen was appointed Field Editor to The Complete Fly Fisherman Magazine (TCFF) in 2011, and has since written for the magazine on a variety of subjects, all fly fishing related. As a writer, Marcus is exceptionally talented, and both the editorial staff as well as our readers, locally and internationally, have benefitted from and enjoyed Marcus’s contributions over the years. In the existence of TCFF (20 years plus) we have been privileged to publish some of fly fishing’s greatest writers, and should we list these luminaries, Marcus’s name would be close to the top of the list. His ability to incorporate humour and other emotions in satire pieces is almost without parallel, and remains the hallmark of a great writer. Here at TCFF we value his contributions, and will continue to publish his work for as long as he cares to submit articles.
