  I joined Equifin Pty (Ltd) in the start of 2022, a financial service provider. Due to my previous experience and reputation, I was sub-contracted to Fuchs Lubricants head office in Kempton Park as a financial consultant, the largest independent manufacturer of specialist lubricant in the world. My duties included the following:  Compile and completed an asset register for a R200 million project, which consisted of the construction of Fuchs new head office and warehouse.  Successfully interpreted and communicated financial information to teams across the business.  Oversaw and managed cost accounting, capitalizing variances, and inventory provisions  I worked closely with the supply chain to build a system on excel to account for costs to ensure that the financial control framework was in place to accomplish accurate reporting of financial operations.  A shortfall in the procurement department was noticed regarding the necessary documentation and authorization needed. I assisted the financial executive to rework the procurement policy to maximize efficacy and accuracy in the “procure to pay” process.  Collaborated with teams including all related contractors involved in the project mentioned above providing an excellent audit pack.  The project was completed in the required time and was audited and signed off by PWC  Fuchs is a paper-based system and currently converting to the SAP software system in which am assisting.
