  Role involves the management and deployment of the Regiment’s communication equipment. Leading a team of 4 information system specialists and, as the IT Security Officer, responsible for the development and implementation of cyber security policy within the unit. Act as the Regimental representative on all communication matters, regularly reporting to the Commanding Officer on the status of our communication equipment. Responsible for ensuring all CIS training is run according to policy and that students are given the necessary support and equipment to complete the relevant courses. Deployed on a multi-national exercise working two ranks above my role to achieve exercise aims. Awarded a commendation by a senior officer for performance in this role. During this time, the unit deployed on multi-national operations requiring the picking up of the responsibility for managing the 6 month pre-deployment training package.
