In addition to the 6 high-rise construction projects I completed as a project manager, as the Scattered Sites Program Manager, I developed and implemented a comprehensive plan to redevelop 80+ properties within the Chicago Housing Authority's 2,100 unit scattered sites housing portfolio. While accounting for vacancy rates, development cost limits, and inter-region resident relocation needs, I manage the design, procurement, and construction processes for every scattered site development project in a program that will run through Q4 of 2016. Some of my accomplishments while working for the Chicago Housing Authority included: • Managed life safety and capital improvement projects totaling over $25 million in construction value for 6 high-rise buildings in the Chicago Housing Authority's senior housing portfolio • Redesigned and digitized the organization's "Service Request" process - allowing asset managers and development managers to seamlessly request services such as assessments, cost estimates, and architectural design services and track the department's progress in fulfilling these requests • Generated a comprehensive database encompassing more than 180 active and pending capital construction projects to guide PM's and management staff from design and procurement through construction and project closeout • Developed a dynamic staffing matrix for project managers and field managers that accounts for project staffing requirements according to project size, region, and complexity of scope • Managed pre-bid meetings, addressed RFIs, issued addenda, and conducted pre-award clarification meetings with contractors for every project launched to date in the scattered sites portfolio Show less
