Head of Compliance for Taguig Safe City Task Force
-
Feb 2021 - Present
Due to the uncertainties of the pandemic, this job challenged me to become as versatile as possible being assigned in different types of tasks. 1.) I was assigned in the enforcement team handling community engagement. I was able to quicken the community report endorsement process by developing a database that automatically endorses the reports to the necessary offices. This helps our enforcement team respond to complaints even faster. 2.) I was tasked to head the local implementation of the Safety Seal Program within Taguig. I headed the deployment of 50+ inspectors to inspect businesses and conduct inspections with regards to COVID-19 mitigation. I conducted trainings on basic indoor air quality assessment as well as sanitation practices as required by DOLE and DOH. Taguig served as a bench mark for the safety seal program and was one of the top performing Local Government Units for the implementation of the Safety Seal Program as awarded by DILG. 3.) I was asked to develop a dashboard for the monitoring of COVID-19 cases during the surge of the Delta Variant. I noticed inconsistencies in the data and errors in the data gathering process. I created a new process for the data gathering and I held trainings for all the data managers within the LGU. This process is still the one being used by Taguig up to this day. 4.) I am in charge of the resumption of face to face classes within Taguig. I hosted coordination meetings with DepEd for basic education, CSWD and ECCDC for Early Childhood Education, and CHEd for Higher Education. We were able to include some of our public schools and international schools for the pilot implementation of face to face classes within Taguig. We also capacitated learning institutions on how to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 through good sanitation practices and indoor air quality monitoring. 5.) Served as a consultant for the resumption of the approval of Designated Smoking Areas within the Local Government of Taguig. Show less
