In Flyt I was mainly responsible to develop API in PHP, adding new features to the chore of the business to enable our program to talk with POS systems and payment services (Verifone, Visa, Adyen) among others. During this time I reached a high standard on developing clean and maintainable code, using a TDD and - when possible - a DDD approach, working with Agile methodologies. Other tasks during this experience gave me the opportunity to learn and become proficient in Go, where I developed an API product and some dispatchers to connect components in a data pipeline. I'm still studying and improving my knowledge of Go in my free time, as I'd like to focus my career on this technology in the future. I learned about cloud distributed infrastructures (AWS), data pipelines, cybersecurity, and gRPC protocols. I know how to move into modern dev-ops tools and software (K8s, Docker, helm, terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (jenkins, concourse). Small projects during this period gave me the opportunity to learn and practice on some other languages, like typescript or Node.js.

    • Software and Web Developer

In Innobit I was mainly responsible to maintain and build custom integrations for a custom distributed management software. In particular, it gave the opportunity to learn about front-end languages, where I was mainly using javascript and its dynamic libraries (jQuery), and CSS. Other works during this time were including build website from scratches. One of them was created using Symfony2 for the backend, Doctrine as ORM, and Twig as templating engine. During this time I was also in charge of managing the company network, and I learned about the best techniques of refactoring, working on converting a procedural PHP to an OOP structure.

I joined this European project for a thesis job and I carried on it after my graduation. During this time I developed a mini-game using Python (with Panda3D as game engine) to help the players to improve their body balance following a stroke, using modern video-game controllers (Wii balance board, Microsoft Kinect). After the graduation, I mainly worked on developing mechanics and models (using Blender) to integrate into the game platform.
