      During the research fellowship, I participated in the development and testing of the ATTICUS project (https://atticus.regione.molise.it/). ATTICUS is an artificial intelligence-based hardware/software system capable of constantly monitoring an individual and noticing abnormalities that affect his health status. This is done through a "smart wearable," which noninvasively acquires a person's vital parameters. These data are collected and processed by different devices and sent to DSS (Decision Support System). During this research fellowship: - I developed several machine learning models to diagnose heart disease. - I developed an Android application to acquire via Bluetooth low-energy vital parameters (e.g. ECG signal, HR, BR, ...). - I performed unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing. - I was involved in the deployment of the whole system on Kubernetes clusters. - I participated in the experimental phase of the project, during which we carried out tests in a hospital environment to verify the proper functioning of the system Show less
