The development of renewable energy, bioenergy and biofuels play a key role in the energy transition path. Eni started several projects in Italy and Sub-Saharan Africa to promote the cultivation of oil crops in degraded and abandoned areas, without competing with the food chain or affecting forest resources. My job is characterized by the selection and monitoring of these areas by means of GIS and remote sensing data, and the agronomic follow-up of the projects The development of renewable energy, bioenergy and biofuels play a key role in the energy transition path.
