Marco was my teacher and even though I only met him in the last two years of my academic life, I can say that he was one of the teachers who positively influenced me the most. And there is little more you can ask from a teacher. Marco teaching skills are not limited by his personal taste (a problem I sometimes faced); instead of giving his opinion, he gives us the bases so that we can learn for ourselves. Marco was always willing to present me with his knowledge and constructive criticism, which I believe helped make me a better professional.
