  In my research project, I will be exploring ways of establishing more micro-mobility options in cities, and optimizing their efficiency through commute data, population maps, and the number of commuters at different public transportation stations. This will allow us to understand where there is a need to implement first/last-mile transportation resources to maximize the accessibility of clean transportation.   I am an engaged member of the Varsity model united Nations team at Bronx Science, having been to 7 conferences so far and eager to go to more not only for the enjoyment and satisfaction I get out of it but more importantly for the social and speech improvements I received from Model United Nations. I feel that over the last 1 and a half, I have significantly improved my ability to speak and collaborate with others which I something I will be able to take out of Model UN.

  I have played soccer my entire life (starting from when I was 4 or 5) and have played ever since. I have played in many organizations, a youth league in elementary school, my middle school team in middle school, and now in the WSSL division in high school. We have gone undefeated last season, winning our division without losing. I plan to continue playing soccer recreationally for the rest of high school and potentially into college. I have played soccer my entire life (starting from when I was 4 or 5) and have played ever since.   In this Columbia University course, I was able to establish good coding knowledge of Python and gain an introduction to computer science. This is especially flexible as I am able to put those skills to good use in my current research project, as well as in future jobs and courses. This introduction also helped me in learning Mathematica and Microsoft Office and will help when I learn Java next year.
