I've been developing mainly using the Python programming language and related open source libraries and database systems (postgresql, mysql), using plain odbc and sqlAlchemy but also integrating existing db2/400 applications and databases. In detail I've been using wxPython and Reportlab extensively to develop client/server applications, CherryPy and Twisted to provide services, Zope component architecture framework to implement code reuse and extensibility trough the adapter and interface it provides. With these technologies I've created applications tailored to the direct sales market in Italy, ranging from orders analysis and management to sales force management through marketing strategies and bridges across third party systems.
