  I am responsible for termination of all subsea cables and umbilicals this includes: Hydrostatic pressure testing up to 30000psi (hoses, umbilicals, valves,) Electrical testing (IR, CR, HV) gas testing, leak tests (nitrogen, helium) qualifications tests on the products. Termination of electrical connectors, cable joints and electrical junction boxes Fully conversant with optical OTDR testing and fusion splicing of both multimode and single mode type fibres. Mechanical termination methods including both steel and fibre type terminations. Swaging of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses. Integration into stab plates, winches etc. A full range of subsea and topside terminations. These include integrated SUTU’s, amour bodies, bend stiffeners/restrictors/pull in heads, hang-off collars, stab-plates, hydraulic quick-connects and special adapters. Also, I do factory acceptance tests (F.A.T) on the products. I am able to perform these tests in front of a witness or the client. offshore service jobs Show less
