I worked with Marcie for 10 years, beginning in the Prepress Dept. and then in the newly formed Creative and Product Development Dept. serving the Premium division of Barton Cotton. She was the first designer on a team which grew in the years to follow. Eventually she acted as mentor to those junior designers who came in after and wanted to learn from the best. I was Art/Creative director at the time and we had a great collaboration working on direct mail fundraising packages for many high profile non-profit clients. She not only took direction well, but typically used her talent and skill in the creative software to take the job to the next level. Our dept. was accustomed to working long hours to get some massive presentations done and Marcie was always willing to put in whatever crazy hours were needed to bring the job to completion. She was someone I could count on to come through when the going got rough. Not only does she work hard, but if you had to work late, she's the kind of coworker you would want there with you...always supportive, fun to be with, and so talented that you knew the work would shine. Marcie's creative abilities are stellar and she she would prove it over and over with the amount of work that was output. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for a creative position, or a position of any kind where you needed an intelligent, accomplished, hard-working individual on your team. Marcie, without a doubt, would make an outstanding contribution to any organization and I recommend her highly.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Marcie for over 15 years. She continues to amaze me with her endless energy and out-of-the-box creative ideas. Her work reflects a level of passion and determination I’ve rarely encountered. Before diving into any project, she spends a great deal of time researching the client’s cause and mission, meeting with internal team members to gain a solid understanding of their goals and objectives, and leads conceptual brainstorming sessions in order to identify and develop the best creative strategies and solutions. Marcie takes great pride in translating the client’s needs and current market conditions into packages that visually resonate with donors and prospects. Her successful direct mail campaigns consistently generate increased results, directly contributing to the profitability and growth of each nonprofit organization she works with. From a sales perspective, her creative vision and talent is essential for helping to secure new business opportunities.
