  I have been working in education for twenty years with experience covering all age groups from kindergarten to grade eight. I developed a strong kindergarten program where children were actively engaged in learning and were very successful early readers. I taught grade five through seven working with students to become independent, critical thinkers and confident learners. I have functioned as a specialized math teacher, teaching grades four through eight. I have inspired students to love math by challenging them through problem solving while building their confidence in their abilities.
