I also lead the joint Intervate and T-Systems South Africa digital marketing and social media team. Market orientation (MO), the topic of my Master's thesis, remains the focus and underlying principles of this role. This project was to deliver a new global messaging solution to Smiths Group Plc to replace a number of legacy messaging applications including MS Mail, CC:Mail, Lotus Notes and others from an array of disparate company's that Smiths Group had acquired over a period of 10 years.I was also part of the global e-Client Project Team that was tasked with designing and building the infrastructure and deployment solution to provide HP's global distribution centres (Mexico, Brazil, USA, France, Japan, Singapore, China) with a new solution to deploy PC based images to all of HP's PC's and Laptops for HP staff use.I then joined the HP Microsoft Services Organisation where he worked on a number of projects through both the pre-sales, and Project Management roles for clients such as P&O, Carlsberg Tetley, Diageo Korea and UK, Colt Telecom and EMI.

These solutions included electronic data interchange (EDI) projects using the ISO standard EDIFACT (EDI For Administration, Commerce and Transport) over X.400 protocols (the pre-cursor to SMTP/Internet EMail) using Microsoft Exchange 4.0 X.400 Connectors, for transmitting health and patient data between authorities over X.25 networks.
