Marcelo is hard-working and learns fast. While introducing him to a project, he didn’t shy away from anything he was not acquainted with but eagerly embraced it. His experience with programming and natural languages is a great addition to any team as a senior dev. And don’t forget barbecues, he is a great addition to those too. The environment becomes much livelier!

Incredible smart and willing to do the things that need to be done to in order to achieve results. That's Marcelo, as I perceive him after his stint at Brick Abode, where I managed him in several projects. I was impressed by his analytical skills, which shone through despite him working remotely for the majority of the time (our loss). Marcelo, despite being very smart, is an agreeable guy, who likes to teach and is willing to learn. I'd hire him easily for a developer position.

Marcelo has worked as a developer on two different NLP (Natural Language Processing) components for detection of valuable information in Italian text. He has done a great job in solving a complex and challenging task. The components are both rule-based, and the work involved writing complex grammars for the detection of textual constructs of interest to our customers.
