Main interface between the company and the customers (truck manufacturers and gearbox manufacturers) my tasks include: - monitor the customer's products and their position in the market - calculate quotations - forward to technical department the required customer's specification for new products - pro-actively monitor the project status: initial planning, test validation, building of tooling, pre-series manufacturing, start of serial production - request and collect all the documents needed for a supply according to quality standards ISO TS 16949 - suggest proper packaging and packaging multiple - define routines for delivery schedules/forecast plan reception and translation into the company business management software system - quickly suggest and agree with the customer proper emergency plans in case of risk of break of supply - manage packaging items, product and packaging marking, product and packaging identification according to customer's standards - verify turnover and future expected turnover - lead all customers audits inside the company - visit customers (or set phone meetings) to share the status af all the ongoing activities - perform assembly test at customers’ production line: check that our product is properly stored, handled and fitted onto transmission or engine (shimming for correct gear play, placing of gasket or sealing paste, tightening torque of fasteners, oil filling, …) in order to sign approval for installation. - I travel for business around whole Europe (mainly Sweden, France, The Netherlands), approximately 10 times per year.
