At the Nachtigal dam in Cameroon, for two Razel worksites with respective starting CA of 3.9M Euro, and 985K Euro, our main missions were: :- Participation in the development of provisional budgets, analysis of deviations from forecasts and implementation of operational strategies to correct them;- Creation of tools for monitoring site expenses (Dashboard, etc.)-Management of monthly closings with the accounting department;- Establishment of customer invoices and monitoring of monthly statements;- Monitoring of the activity of the subcontractor and establishment of work attachments in accordance with the quantities observed;- Monitoring of deliveries and supplier invoices;- Participation in the monitoring of site activities (development of blast plans, etc.). I essentially worked on blasts in Eloumden Quarry. With the help of the quarry's staff, I developed a small decision-making tool (with Java and MySQL), allowing one hand to predict the results of a technical blast (block size, vibrations produced , quantity of explosives used ...), relying on the different mathematical models that exist. And on the other hand to make an economic evaluation of the shot (Cost of the semi-finished). I essentially worked on blasts in Eloumden Quarry. We mainly did estimation of iron ore resource of Grand Zambi Project's. Daily the work consisted to do : -Tracking. Marked and prepared the places where we had to drill; -Logging. Structural, geological, geotechnical...logs; -Sampling, according to the Canadian standard; -And saved all the collected information in an excel file, which is given to the database manager.
