Marcella is a very talented and passionate professional. I got to know her during the year out placement at TP Bennett LLP, where I was always impressed by her creative approach to architecture and interior design. Once Playlight was selected as one of the designers for a festive shopfront installed in Willesden Green, it was a natural decision to include Marcella into our design team. Marcella's skills range from creative and dynamic initiatives to technical expertise. She was very responsive the design brief as well as skilfully managing clients expectations, making a sustainable intervention and strengthening shop identity, to introduce a renewed dynamism to the street. Marcella was an essential team member contributing to the success of the project, producing truly innovative and inspiring work that mediates the boundary between art and architecture. Her collaborative approach, imagination and extreme attention to detail resulted in a high standard of work, that was featured in The Architecture Foundations recent publication New Windows on Willesden. As a talented designer, Marcella is a pleasure to get to interact and work with and I would highly recommend her for creative design and interdisciplinary collaborations.

      After completing my Diploma, I collaborated with Playlight in The New Windows in Willesden Green project by The Architecture Foundation. On return from my travels abroad, I soon became involved with the community, exhibiting at Brent Artists Resources Gallery and my works advertised in publications and local press. In collaboration with Meanwhile Space and Brent Council, I curated a successful show at Electric House.
