      Heino belandt onverwachts op een echte piratenboot. Terugvaren kan niet meer. Het is het begin van een avontuurlijke reis op zoek naar de schat van Side. De piraten komen er snel achter dat Heino een bijzonder slim ventje is. Hij redt de piraten uit de handen van zeevaarders, bannikalen en junglebewoners. Onderweg ontdekken ze een wereld van raadsels, vallen, pianokamers, glasstranden en vreemde wezens. Om de schat te bemachtigen, mogen de piraten drie wensen doen. De schatkamer blijkt een val te zijn. Weet Heino de piraten en de schat veilig naar huis te brengen? Het verhaal achter het verhaal: s 'Avonds vertel ik mijn kinderen ter plekke bedachte verhaaltjes. Ik hou van creativiteit. Dat komt dagelijks terug in oplossingen, strategie, business modellen maar ook in het schrijven van een kinderboek. De verhalen over Heino waren duidelijk de favoriet van beide jongens. Zo ontstond het idee om een kinderboek te schrijven. Gedurende het schrijfproces realiseerde ik me dat ik op meerdere manieren een positieve impact kan maken voor kinderen: Gratis - De eerste versie was een gratis e-boek dat door meer dan vijfduizend scholen digitaal ontvangen. Al snel werd het boek duizenden keren van de website https://heinodepiraat.nl gedownload en werd het boek veelvuldig voorgelezen. Goed doel - Het boek is gekoppeld aan het goede doel ‘Bliss to Shine’. Lezers kunnen vrijblijvend een donatie maken via de website. Met de donaties worden de wensen van kinderen die met kanker te maken hebben vervuld. Uitgever - Een paar maanden na de publicatie bleek er echter interesse van een uitgever te zijn. Binnenkort wordt het boek opnieuw uitgegeven als e-boek, luisterboek en gedrukte versie. Doneren kan nog steeds op de website van Heino. In de nieuwe samenwerking wordt het donatiemodel ingeruild voor het afdragen van de volledige schrijvers fee aan het goede doel. Zo bereiken we meer lezers en verwachten we meer te kunnen doneren.
