  Knuffle today announces that the Supervisory Board intends to appoint Marcel Demper as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Directors as of July 1, 2022. As CEO of Knuffle, Marcel Demper will be responsible for the implementation of the mission to become the most huggable brand of the world. Supervisory Board Chairman Kasper Demper (12 years old) said Marcel Demper was chosen after an extensive and extremely competitive selection process. “Marcel is an outstanding choice. To become the most huggable brand in the world, we knew we need to find someone for this position who is the most huggable person for all three of us” he said, referring to the other two members of the Supervisory Board Xavi (9 years old) and Lisa Demper (5 years old). “This appointment marks the exciting start of the Knuffle brand and we’re almost as excited as when we entered a theme park last summer.” Kasper Demper said. “The first ideas for what is now called Knuffle started two years ago on the same kitchen table where we sign the contracts today. Our talks with Marcel felt so familiar right from the start. Because Knuffle is all about feeling cosy, warm, soft, relaxed and lazy, it is good to know that these characteristics are reflected in his personality, not least his laziness.” Commenting on the appointment, Marcel was excited to be taking on the role. “In daily life I often have to reply ‘no’ to these three members of the Board.
