whilst working for David I was fortunate to learn so much whilst using all the skills I had already attained and dreamed of using. David hired me to be his personal assistant. This included general day to day planning and support as well as him leaning on me for artistic influence so that I was able to put my own mark on his great work. During this time period I was fortunate enough to have photographed and worked with; Naomi Campbell, Madonna, prince Naseem, Melanie C, Puffy, Missy Elliot, Bjork, Natalie Portman and Heidi Klum. This has been one of the most enjoyable and inspiring experiences I have ever had both professionally and personally. I was able to conduct myself on behalf of a SME at all levels cooperating and negotiating not only with the above artists but with the following companies; GQ, HBO, New York Times, Interview magazine, Vanity fair, American Express, The Face and Rolling stone. From operations to the actual art and running for coffee I was able to be a part of it. One of my most memorable moments was being the driver behind the idea of Naomi’s most famous shot which of course incorporated my other passion in life – Boxing. This was in Playboy magazine 2000 / the cover. A challenging but yet memorable professional task we were both set as a team, myself and David on behalf of Interview magazine (30th anniversary) were challenged to photograph 30 celebs in 30 days ready and set to be published for this great brand. This work can all be found on line and am happy to share with you. Show less
