I had the pleasure of reporting to Marcel for 3 years at the Sports Department of Zurich. I was always blown away by Marcel’s ability to professionally, technically, and convincingly lead his employees and successfully juggle multiple projects. And we make everyone more competent in their movement / motorskills through playful hand/eye coordination training. This is all it takes: Some lines on the ground (with chalk, colour, tape or sports markers), a racket and a ball – and you are ready to go.Street Racket can be enjoyed by all ages groups and playing levels , it is a highly effective motorskill training (focusing on hand/eye coordination), it’s very versatile, a lot of fun and can be set up at no costs at all - anywhere in and around the school. The specially designed and simple rules ensure that a very fluent, controlled game takes places, there is no risk for injuries and the concept can easily be transferred from school to the free time at home. There, the kids will play with their families and friends, draw their own courts on the floor and activate even more people. For a social, active, healthy and meaningful lifestyle.We are the new common base for all racket sports (easy to learn, quick success leads to early motivation which leads to sustainable and regular activity) and we want to increase the active part of society with our simple setting and the various movement games(starting in schools and spreading the ideas into the communities, businesses, sports clubs, …). Street Racket is an activity that can be enjoyed alone, in pairs and in whole groups alike. So far there are over 150 game forms and people invent new ones all the time, so there is a lot of room for creativity as well.

The Centre for Competence in physical education ensures quality programmes for sustainable and effective physical education for all age groups. The centre also takes care of the education of the teachers within the zurich school system. We create and supervise sports programs for our 30'000 kids in public schools and work closely with the 1500+ teachers engaged in physical education.
