  In 2021, we threw away more than 140,000 tons of food in Slovenia. This year the price of food increased by more than 14.4%. Solving the problem of food waste is therefore not only important, but necessary, as inequalities are growing day by day. That's why we created Krožnik. Krožnik is a mobile app that allows its users to save money on the purchase of food that would otherwise be thrown away by stores, just because it was not sold in time. In this way, the application will offer both companies and users a unique opportunity that would have a positive impact on their financial situation.
