Marcel and I worked together during the lean transformation journey within the European supply chain organisation of the Schindler group. I experienced him as a very committed, enthusiastic and effective lean professional with a clear hand-on and role model approach. Under his guidance, employees were deeply involved, shop flor processes were redesigned and continuous improvement routines were implemented. The factory was extensively transformed. Through a structured and practice oriented lean academy program, Marcel and his team trained the entire workforce and guided the organisation into a sustainable cultural change: the lean philosophy was definitively embraced by the most!
