For the integration department I focused on creating, deploying and running Tibco BW micro services and supporting tools. Soon after my start at ING I was made responsible for the exception handling framework, database and tomcat application, which formed the backbone of the Tibco BW micro services landscape. Since 2018 I focused more on the automated deployment part. We were given a Jenkins Artifactory and Nolio pipeline, migrated that to a Jenkins Artifactory Ansible TFS pipeline and are now working on the Azure DevOps migrations. Lately I began experimenting with the Spring framework (Spring Boot Security LDAP) in order to see if I can migrate away from some legacy GUI as well as it's deployment procedure, I am also starting to embrace plant-uml for design and progress reports. This was a special ING / Procam traineeship where a group of new employees was trained to work within the Wholesale Banking Tibco environment. This period started with an intense bootcamp consisting of official Tibco, Java and Scrum training. Eventually most of us were placed at different departments which needed to collaborate together.
