I worked with and known Marc for 18 years. He has always been a dedicated worker that can be relied upon under any circumstance. He will not quit and has the fortitude to work through problems and set backs, making necessary adjustments to finish. He effectively manages staff and subcontractors to make certain that job specifications are met. He sets a high standard for workmanship and expects the best from all, including himself. He monitors work progress and the quality of the work to make certain that project objectives are met. He effectively will work with staff to discuss work and work improvements, weather the adjustments are with people, process or methodologies. Marc knows and understands the contracts and specifications. He pays attention to how work is to be accomplished and reported. He has a good understanding of the individual delivery order type of contracts that we have worked including FDOT contamination assessment and remediation and EPA ERRS contracts. Marc manages project work to comply with the contracts to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to specifications and to maximize potential billings. Safe work is a must with Marc as well. He analyzes each task and implements approaches and methods that improves worker safety. He implements safety procedures and performs site safety drills, such as confined space rescues. He instructs staff and subcontractors on safe work procedures and listens as well to improve the way work is accomplished. Marc is a great mentor. He has worked with WRS staff and helped many of them improve and grow. People that are willing to work and learn new skills can count on help from Marc. He will provide guidance and either directly assist or give direction on where to find resources that will help with the learning process. Marc's technical skills and understanding of complex problems has benefited many projects. He understands water treatment systems including pumps, water movement and the chemistry of the process. When assigned to a project, he can be counted on to review plans and permits, specs and other site documents to understand the technical aspects. When problems arise, he consults other resources, including experts/coworkers or internet literature. I have been surprised by how easy he can understand technical issue and develop sound solutions. He is very personal-able and has an outgoing personality. He works well with clients and coworkers and communicates with them well, both on the job site and outside the work environment. People generally feel confident in Marc and trust him. He follows through with his commitments and leads by example. Marc not only has a great work ethic, but he is consistently honest and demonstrates integrity. He can be counted on by customers, site inspectors, coworkers and management to perform the job right and report anything that is inconsistent with expectations. I would gladly work with Marc on any project.
