Marc has a profound dossier of skills, strengths, and experience. During his time at Cascade Aids Project he was directly responsible for extensive community fundraising and helped grow Volunteer Services into the main hub of social capital for the organization, and a major source of income. Always fair, inclusive, equitable and kind, his ability to lead and inspire others propelled him to rise above his colleagues in form and style. A social justice leader, he possessed the organizational and moral courage to lead when others fell silent. His leadership style garnered the respect his co workers and modeled integrity for the thousands of volunteers under his management. Working with Marc was always fun, full of jest, but yet grounded in a gravitas of appreciation for those lost to HIV and those struggling to survive its modern incarnation. Marc is also a fantastically detailed and accomplished administrator. He is always prepared, keeps excellent records, is a first rate facilitator and trainer, and uses his keen intellect to traverse complex NGO laws, employment standards, reporting requirements, and union negotiations. Marc is destined to lead as an NGO Executive Director or CEO if he can find a match that can honor his vision, work ethic, and social purpose.
