I am the director of Mercer University Press. I am also a senior lecturer in the departments of philosophy and Great Books. I teach philosophical ethics, philosophy of religion, a course called Socrates and Jesus, and courses in the Great Books program at Mercer. As a professor I emphasize how philosophy is about how one should live as a Self and with the Other. As a publisher I emphasize books that can change lives and increase knowledge.
