I worked with Marc on a number of projects over the years, where my team relied on his output to design and build the end solution. He consistently delivered excellent artifacts, his attention to detail and completeness were top notch. Very professional and approachable, I'd easily recommend him to anyone.

I’ve worked with Marc both in his capacity as a Client SME and more recently as a fellow BA team member working on a variety of change programmes. He has a wealth of domain knowledge that spans multiple areas of financial services, gained through many years of practical experience. Marc also possesses key skills that you’d be looking for in a great BA. He has an analytical mind, is a natural problem solver and has excellent critical thinking skills. He has consistently demonstrated his thirst to get to the heart of any challenge presented.

SS&C provide their clients with insurance and retirement solutions. My career at SS&C has been working on large Pension, Protection and Savings projects that offer clients software and resource solutions to administrate the full product life cycle. I have built solid relationships with project stakeholders, including internal design and development teams, acceptance testing and business users, as well as external actuaries and senior management, whilst working from a remote location since 2017. This has been key to ensuring successful deliveries. My role regularly involves defining the scope of a project whilst understanding the corporate and business strategy. This includes gathering and documenting business requirements using appropriate elicitation techniques, including process modelling of “as is” and “to be” processes and identifying gaps. Responsible for documenting, identifying, investigating and evaluating options for improving business systems and processes. I strive to become a subject matter expert to help ensure the highest quality of analysis is provided, whilst supporting my colleagues by sharing knowledge and experience as well as performing peer reviews of project artefacts.

In this role I continued to provide business, systems and technical expertise to various projects, both large (£1M+) and small (£1k<). I regularly met with both internal and external stakeholders to assist them with requirements specification and participated in the design workshops. I have also assisted Lead Business Specialists to help identify potential efficiencies during the requirements gathering and design assessment activities. This role involved data fixing of the files behind the iSeries user options. I provided advice and training to the various Customer Services teams in Southampton and Isle of Man. I worked closely with IT to correct erroneous programs and feeds. Created test scenarios and conducted business testing for the data fixing functions and workaround processes. Responsible for highlighting areas of risk and providing plan of approach to CSD managers. Built up an excellent knowledge of the files and programs supporting iSeries during this time.
