After co-leading a successful virtual environment company that relied on large, big-spend clients and content-intensive engagements, I co-developed a 100% self-service webinar presentation platform – the first fully hosted in the cloud. Bolstered by a pandemic-driven demand for reliable, accessible virtual outreach, we grew revenue from $0 to $6.7M in 17 months, creating an enterprise successfully going head-to-head with large, established enterprise webinar platforms. • Developed a MVP Cloud-based SaaS webinar platform using wireframes and functioning prototypes. • Conducted voice of customer interviews to validate product ideas to optimize SaaS webinar product roadmap and find product market fit. • Drove product roadmap and prioritized Cloud-based SaaS webinar product features to reflect client’s needs and pain points and continuously enhance product features to meet the customer requirements and revenue target. • Wrote webinar product requirement documentation and translated customer requests into engineering-facing requirements and user stories for Cloud-based platform. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams of 112 Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and define go-to market strategy (GTM). • Lead the product discovery process, including market research, user testing, and data analysis, to identify and prioritize new product opportunities and features in the space of SaaS and webinar presentations. • Mentored the entire product and development team of 35 people to inspire personal development leading to fast promotion and personal growth from entry-level to head of product level growth. Partnering with two lifelong friends, I helped engineer and enhance the 6Connex virtual event product, moving a .net Flash presence into a far-friendlier, device-compatible Java HTML5 platform. Having bought the company with just two customers and one employee conveying, we relaunched the product with an eye on the potential of providing virtual-venue access on mobile devices. Seizing quick wins and plotting long-term business strategy, we grew a successful enterprise to 45 employees and a successful sale in 2019. • Led and managed development teams of 20 to create a Cloud-based SaaS virtual environment platform to host virtual Cloud environments. • Conducted market research and analyzed market/industry trends and conditions of virtual events and environments scrutinizing the feasibility, cost, and ROI for all improvements. • Conducted voice of customer interviews to validate product ideas to optimize virtual event platform product roadmap and find product market fit. • Drove product roadmap and prioritized product features to reflect surge client demand of virtual events and continuously enhance product features to meet the customer requirements and rapid revenue growth. • Collaborated in a cross-functional team of 65 including product, design, engineers, sales, and marketing team to ensure product alignment and define go-to- market strategy (GTM). • Responsible for new product introductions, including involvement in large commercial deals as well as customer presentations and training. Provided platform demos to enterprise customers. Show less

I was recruited here to bring competitive infrastructure expertise to a start-up on the cutting edge of cloud technology. In a demanding environment that brought daily change and challenge, I provided both immediate fixes and long-term refinements to the platform as the $9.5M cloud-based software vendor launched its initial public offering in late 2012. • Worked cross-functionally with 30 engineering team members to launch services for Workday customers in an Agile manner. • Establishing and governed change/release practices. Ensured all changes are documented, approved, and monitored. • Identified and managed customer risks throughout the release process. This included developing mitigation strategies and monitoring the release process. • Lead enterprise change review ceremonies to assess release readiness and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
