Facilities Maintenance Director for a 4-story Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. Duties included but were not limited to: Daily rounds and checklists to ensure building and all Mechanical Components were operating as needed and designed to maintain a fully functional building. This included HVAC work, Electrical and Plumbing work, Elevator work, Boiler and Hot Water Tank work, Lighting issues, Carpet and Flooring care, Grounds work, Painting and Patching almost daily as needed, Alarm System monitoring, as well as all Preventative Maintenance on all of the above as well as other areas necessary to maintain the integrity of the building as per specs. I was also in charge of ordering all necessary chemicals, supplies, etc. necessary to run the Maintenance Department. I also scheduled Outside Contractors and Vendors to complete any work beyond my scope or tool availability and over see such Projects to ensure they were up to Company expectations. I was also responsible for all State inspections including but not limited to Fire drills, Disaster drills, Backflow valves, Elevator inspections, and many more areas which need to schedule various Vendors and Inspectors to come and do the inspections, and then arrange Contractors to do any repairs, if necessary, and to keep in contact with the appropriate State Agencies to keep all Certificates up to date as required. Also included in my duties: I oversaw another department: Housekeeping. These duties include but were not limited to: Overseeing the Housekeeping staff and planning out their weekly and quarterly cleaning schedules, making sure these schedules were adhered to as per Company policies, and to order all necessary supplies and chemicals necessary to run the Housekeeping Department.
