The outsiders.co is a Singaporean Branding & Design agency that likes to see itself as on a mission to help small, bold organisations build meaningful, functional brands through effective design & storytelling. Because of their extremely dynamic business model and their fast changing needs, they tend to use talented freelancers with different sets of skills.I've been lucky enough to accompany them in the organisation of the first CMAS (Club Manager's Association of Singapore) get together event. Helping this golfing and networking event through its very first steps was a great opportunity for me to understand how branding and specialized communication is made and the thinking process behind it. The event was meant to raise awareness about the Association, drag in potential new members and raise funds for more and bigger events to come. I was in charge of the whole marketing and communication of the event. With around 80 people joining for both golfing and networking and more than 15 sponsors, the event clearly has been a success and I'm looking forward working with t-o.c and their incredible team again.

After proving myself as a waiter and then a bartender, I've been managing a 160 seats bar/restaurant in a hyped location in Singapore. The young and dynamic staff (roughly 10 people) was more like a group of friends than coworkers. The flexible schedule and the position I had allowed me to develop great PR and Management skills while opening myself to the world, travelling around South East Asia for 9 monthsIt has been an amazing journey and an overall great experience during which I changed and grew as a person.

What do their events include ? - 5 amazing French Wines carefully selected by their associate, the 3-star Michelin French Sommelier Nicolas REBUT.- A dynamic and interactive speech to get the attendees to get real but playful knowledge of the wine they’re tasting.- A tasting book to guide the attendees through their discovery of our selection - A 54 Aroma-Kit- Equipment (glasses,…)On one side, I was in charge of the marketing and communication of the company, trying to create awareness about the deals the company offers, wether it was to current customers or new prospects : 2 different kind of tastings and 3 subscription models.On the other hand, my partner and I were hosting BtoB ad BtoC tastings and hard-selling the subscriptions face to face during the last part of the sessions.It was a great experience that taught me how to think differently to be able to penetrate effectively a foreign market. I also loved the challenge of 'hard sales in a foreign language'.
