Bio
Joel Richard
I've had the privilege of knowing Marc since we were student peers at UNB's Faculty of Engineering, and have always known him to be exceptionally technically gifted. He learns how to apply new concepts, methods, and tools with incredible quickness and creativity. From 2009-2014, Marc and I worked very closely at Inversa Systems, where he was directly involved in hardware, embedded systems, and software design, prototyping, deployment and refinement. There's no system in the Inversa technology stack that Marc didn't have a hand in developing at one point or another. That speaks to Marc's extremely broad skillset, versatility as a design engineer, and his rare gift for seeing the big picture without losing attention to detail. Complimenting his technical talents, Marc is an incredibly likable and collaborative person. His office demeanor, good humour, and unique blend of kindness, candor and respect set him in a class of his own; and I genuinely miss working closely with him.
