I had the pleasure of having Mar on my team for two years, when I was heading Global Marketing for HP's graphic solution business. It was a time of intense transformation in the business and marketing. We were moving away from a very traditional, non-measurement and events driven approach to becoming insights and customer driven, strategic, measurement oriented, digital and social led and content first approach. Mar readily embraced this approach, learning new skills and driving them through the organization as a change-agent. She worked extrememly hard and transformed herself as a marketer as well as doing the painful work of getting the business unit folks on board and earning their respect as a partner and not an order-taker. She did that in a very positive, level-headed way and celebrating small and big victories and learning all the way. She is a great collaborator, team-player and effective communicator. I wish Mar all the very best in her next professional chapter.
