      • I am currently the principal supervisor of three doctoral students and eight master's students. I am assisting them in understanding the core and latest 6G technologies. Moreover, I am guiding them to identify the gaps in their underlying research fields, generate ideas, and propose practical solutions to the challenging issues for their MS and Ph.D. research proposals. The majority of problems in their areas are tackled through AI techniques and approaches. I am helping them write and review survey articles and technical papers for top-tier IEEE journals and conferences. All my students are working on cutting-edge wireless communication technologies, including Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), Backscattering, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Physical Layer Security, and Vehicular task Computing, Resource Allocation, Interference Management in 5G and B5G Networks. • I have also been teaching the following courses: • 4492301- Principles of Wireless Communication (2019, 2021), MS and Ph.D. level • 4492302 Machine Learning (2019), MS level. • 4492307- Selected Topics in Communication Engg (2021), MS and Ph.D. level. • Collaborating with different labs to gather top-notch research on the latest topics. • I have acted as an external reviewer on four Ph.D. degree projects. • Extended my research area to Socially Aware D2D Communications and ensured confidentiality using physical layer security techniques. • Co-supervised two Ph.D. students working on D2D based Key-based Physical layer security and D2D Caching. • Collaborated with leading scientists and published three papers as the first author in top-tier journals, including IEEE COMST, Transactions on Wireless Communications, and Transactions on Vehicular Technology. • Provided support to a group of students in finding their research direction through aggressive discussions to find gaps in the existing literature. Evaluated their works critically and improved technical writing skills for international-level journal and conference papers. Key Achievements: Published one book chapter and three first authors papers in top international journals, i.e., IEEE COMST, IEEE Transaction on Wireless Communication, IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology, and performed assessment and evaluation of group students’ technical papers. Specifically, two Ph.D. students are co-supervised with Prof. Yong Li, and published two surveys in IEEE COMST, two journal papers in IEEE Transaction on Wireless Communication, and another in IEEE Access. Also, I published one conference paper in IEEE Globecom. Show less

      • Reporting to GM South as a Director of the NTC Quetta directorate, I was accountable for technical and financial strategies, operation, and maintenance of the communication infrastructure and cable/optical network design and development. This included providing communication services to all government departments within the province, and these communication services cover voice, data, and transmission facilities. • Responsible for project management and engagement/coordination at different levels, assuring quality outcomes precisely when multiple partners are involved. • I led all major technology upgrades and projects, resolving key performance issues and providing a stable operational communication environment. • Designed PC-1 & technical specifications for Cables, optical fibres, MSAGs, data devices, and exchanges. Build new buildings for telecommunication exchanges in the remote sites of Balochistan. This involved provision of main and backup power in the form of engine generators, installation of exchanges, data (EWSD /ZTE MSUs, MSAGs, ATM, DXX, DSLAM, and BRAS.), and transmission equipment (DRS /DWDM) and various other networking equipment. • I also provided training to our technical and operational teams training about the latest technologies and developed in-house technical capabilities. Key Project: Operation and maintenance of Microwave radio links, including Toshiba and Fujitsu-based systems (32 MW Stations), EWSD exchanges, and DSLAM equipment. I have also conducted VSAT surveys in remote areas of Balochistan and performed technical and financial feasibility of new exchanges and DSL equipment. Infrastructure development and upgrades, which include a physical study of 11 sites in Quetta for copper and optical fibre cables, followed by PC-1-2 preparation, planning, development, and testing. Installation and supervision of new exchanges, data equipment, Optical SDH/WDM nodes, Multi-Services Access gateways at Khuzdar, Pishin, Chaman, Ziarat, etc. Show less
