• Conducted case outreach to 1,700+ clinicians trained by PHR to provide pro-bono forensic evaluations to migrants requiring documentation of torture/abuse in order to prevail in their asylum or immigration applications. • Tracked emergency lawsuits concerning ICE detainees at increased health risk from COVID-19; connected attorneys with clinicians working to provide affidavits in support of detainees’ release from ICE custody. • Assisted in initial document review for research report (“Abuse and Retaliation Against Hunger Strikers in U.S. Immigration Detention”) jointly published by PHR and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
