Jemstep is a Fintech company based in South Africa and the U.S. to help customers grow their wealth by investing their money based on goals.- First helping and collaborating with some Bonzzu partners in the fixing of bugs and implementing new features.- I was involved in a feature improvement that allowed the creation/update of goal investments along with a joint user pulling out and setting their data to the investment.- I helped to implement a new feature that allowed the clients to create and improve their investments based on recommended allocations by the bank, in this case, Citibank.- I helped in an improvement proposed by a Jemptep's client, Citibank, to solve some security issues where some sensitive data were exposed in the web app across the whole HTML and in some Javascript files.- I leaded the implementation of an improvement on the connection from the app to Docusign, this service is used to handle investment documentation and confidentiality agreements with the bank. The goal of this improvement was to implement the way how the app will send documents to DocuSign, previously this connection was made only with a user and password authentication, but given DocuSign's new documentation, a new authentication based on JWT was required. Frontend Web Developer at Bonzzu's Web and Blog sites
-
Nov 2021 - Oct 2022
- I helped Bonzzu in fixing some bugs, improving some React components and styles on their official website page- I was involved in the implementation of the new brand Blog site for Bonzzu. In the beginning, the site was made with the usual Reactjs. But given new requirements were needed like the possibility to send emails in case some end-user subscribes to the site to get the latest posts, the whole app needed to be migrated to Next.js Framework.- To make more accessible the way how the styles were implemented more and to be maintainable in the future, we used the TailwindCSS framework and also used the CSS modules approach so the CSS classes can be available only in the component where we invoke them.- And finally, to handle the posts we used Contentful, in that way all the posts could be created, updated, and hidden without the app, and also Bonzzu's Content Team can easily handle the posts for the Blog site. - I collaborated with a school partner to fix some bugs and implement improvements in the whole payments platform for the School of Specialization at Trujillo's National University. - The whole web platform was made in PHP without any frameworks, Javascript to handle client events, and PostgreSQL to store users and payment data. - I collaborated with a school partner to fix some bugs and implement improvements in the whole payments platform for the School of Specialization at Trujillo's National University. - The whole web platform was made in PHP without any frameworks, Javascript to handle client events, and PostgreSQL to store users and payment data.
