As a researcher I worked on multiple research projects and as a team leader I mentored a team of 22 graduate and undergraduate researchers working on different research projects. -Built a text messaging social platform that graduated into a startup “SMSall.pk” (described below) -Built a telephone-based social platform Polly using Php, Tropo, Freeswitch, MySql, to provide health education and job search to people with low-literacy. The platform amassed over an 150,000 users; received Best Paper award in ACM SIGCHI 2013, and was covered in MIT Tech Review. -Built a Disease Surveillance System for the government to detect epidemic outbreaks of dengue in Punjab Pakistan. Witnessed a reduction of patients from 21,000 in 2011 to 257 in 2012, covered in MIT Tech Review
