  IT Core Networks (PTML - Pakistan)Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (Ufone) is a subsidiary of Emirates Telecommunication Corporation Group (Etisalat). PTML critical data network is scattered all over the country to provide high speed data connectivity for all Ufone mission critical services. Ufone data backbone is also providing GPRS and Edge USB services for Post Pay and Prepay customers. PTML data infrastructure is mainly based on Huawei, Cisco and Juniper routers and switches. Working in IT Core Network with extensive work load to work on multivendor routers and switches. Main Responsibilities are below. • Responsible for designing scalable, secure and efficient IP network for Ufone customers and employees,• Responsible for implementation and deployment of all new router and switches, failover solutions between critical sites, troubleshooting of existing routing and switching domain. • Responsible for managing and commissioning of company’s network equipment by maintaining a close operational relationship with Ufone vendors and suppliers• Operations management of the entire IP Network including maintenance, up-gradation, expansion, security, and optimization.• Responsible for implementing, managing and troubleshooting IPSec VPN tunnels.• Management of ISG2000 firewall, working as a Active/Passive.• Co-ordination with JTAC and vendor for current and already opened cases.• Rich troubleshooting experience in multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Juniper, Nortel and Foundry)• Responsible for 99.99% uptime for Date critical networks.
