During my internship, I was exposed to the day-to-day activities of the Accounting Department and I contributed my services under the guidance of its staff. More specifically, in the beginning of my internship I assisted with the simple every day duties and gradually I was assigned more responsibilities. These included the preparation of payments to suppliers, the follow-up and review of the invoices for VAT declaration, the preparation of VAT exemption letters and the posting of invoices in the Accounting System. Finally, among other duties, I got involved in the validation of invoices through the local system and the review of the Statements of Accounts.

Intern at the business credit services at store A' Thessaloniki (210) and more specifically in the loans' department of small and mediums-sized enterprises. A very interesting part of my work was the monitoring of the repayment of loans by comparing the bank customers checks with the Bank's analysis. I was also responsible for the verification of the insurance awareness of each customer. Finally, another task that brought me closer to customers, was to inform them in case their insurance awareness had expired.
