If we know the percentage recovery to be happen then we can add exact amount of ferroalloys. This will save a lot of cost. • Predict the quantity of coal rate to be supplied to keep the blast furnace thermally stable- In blast furnace, we melt the raw materials to make pig iron. If the temperature in all areas of blast furnace is not same then it will lead to a poor product further. So to identify the current state of blast furnace and supply appropriate quantity of fuel is very important to keep the blast furnace stable. • To predict the remaining life of Ladle- Ladles are used to carry molten metal from blast furnace to casting process. After carrying certain number of heats, it needs to be repaired. If we can find the remaining life of the ladle then we can use it optimally. • To identify sticker defect- The molten metal is poured in a mold, where solidification happens. Slowly it is moved to make flat steel product. During this process some surface defects occur in the steel finally made. If we can identify the sticker defect in the molding process then we can prevent the occurrence of sticker defect in the following slabs. Show less

To solve the issue We extracted all the texts written on the drawings using computer vision and different OCR techniques. Then tagged all the documents with many key features.
