  Ordnance Factory Board Experience: Over last about 9 years, I have had the opportunities to work in different roles in defence manufacturing at OFB. I have been posted in Engine Factory Avadi (EFA) which manufactures highly sophisticated and complex engines for Battle Tanks for Indian Army. As the Group officer of Procurement Section for 4 years, my duties have been (i) to initiate the procurement actions through trade for the direct items used in engines assembly and place the supply orders for the items.(ii) to maintain the supply chain management for timely positioning of materials to ensure in time availability of the items for production.As the Group officer of Information and Technology Cell, my duties have been(i) to maintain the IT infrastructure of the factory including hardware and software systems.(ii) to maintain the PCs, KIOSKS, UPS, Printers, EFA intranet and OFB Comnet and networking in the factory.

I have been posted in Engine Factory Avadi (EFA) which manufactures highly sophisticated and complex engines for Battle Tanks for Indian Army. Machine Maintenance (4.5 years): Engine Factory Avadi, has a one of the most modern state-of-the-art CNC technologies for manufacturing precision components, dedicated and robust engine test cells. I have worked in pivotal roles in commissioning of modern machinery. Also, I have led a team for installation and commissioning of a solar power plant in EFA. A healthy Industrial relations for over 100 workmen working with were maintained.
