It includes design of wired sensor n/w over Ethernet. In the latter case sensors were roof mounted on a conduit mount sensor mote and connected over cable to MCU base board. The ambient parameters are sensed from different sensors and stored into json packets. Finally this aggregated sensor data is sent to a central server running SensorAct (A Privacy and Security Aware Middleware developed jointly by IIITD-UCLA). Status: Successful design and deployment of 14 Wi-Fi Nodes covering whole MUC Wing along with design and validation of 1st prototype for hostel dorms and 25 more nodes going to be deployed by July 2013.
